Angled timber chair legs were common mid last century and are making a come-back in the 21st century.  Particularly suits tall tapered round timber legs. The threaded Boss nut inside the metal fitting has been especially strengthened with additional welding for New Zealand conditions. Sofa Legs NZ stocks a range of sanded unfinished timber tapered round legs suitable for use with the Leg Angle Plate.  Currently we offer 200mm, 230mm and 305mm timber legs that are suitable.  These timber legs have a shortened 5/16" threaded rod in the top (20mm) so that the drill hole in the underside of the chair frame can be reduced in depth by 7.5mm to 15mm. The 15mm x 8mm blank drill hole allows the threaded rod to be hidden up inside the recess.  The legs are supplied sanded/unfinished so that you can apply a clear lacquer, stain or paint to meet your interior design requirments.
